The first sermon
She woke up from a dream that wasn't a dream. In fact, it seemed that it was a recollection of the trial that sent her to the mortal realm. She saw the Archangel of la Zaridel forcing his hand onto her forehead as he shouted: "You are banished from Heaven and shall live a mortal life until you can repent your heinous crime.". As the words seared through her head she she felt like her knowledge of the heavens and its inhabitants were more difficult to remember as the names of the archangels disappeared from her mind.
She woke up as she smelled the breakfast father Henry prepared and they discussed her need to find herself work and a place to stay as the church will be able to help her for a time, but that she would need to find her own place in time. She exited his house and looked around as she saw that not all militia men wore breast plates and heavy shields, they wore chain shirts and light shields as it seemed like the late night watch man had the upper hand. She looked around and saw the symbol of the city, a Tower made of stone with what seemed to be block crumbling under it. however she noticed that the district colors, turquoise, were around the symbol letting people know that they had changed jurisdiction. She arrived at the districts church that could only house 40 believers and noticed that it was jammed packed with people, both big and small, young and old. She started talking with everyone and introduced herself. Though she was beautiful and friendly. many were awkwardly pushing her away as the more she talked the less sense she made, as she mentioned her angelic origins to everyone. There she met the Butcher Amel and his wife Lucille, he was a scruffy man with simple clothing, but you could see that the man handled meat and had little to no class. He talked to the sweet Alythiel but quickly realized that she wasn't' all there, but not before mentioning the issues that the district was having with the undead. She continued to speak with the rest of the group and always she could feel the uncomfort of the crowd against their plight as many lost family to the undead.
She also met a small, scrawny woman named Marie, she had blonde hair and blue eyes and seemed to have a welcoming smile, which laid contrast to her husband Korag's rough exterior as he looked like an over sized over muscled dwarf.. As it turns out he is the districts Blacksmith and she a waitress at the local inn called the Fallen Barrel. She also learned that they are the night watchmen's parents as he mentioned her upon his return home. Once she met them she quietly sat down to hear the sermon of Father Henry and as it finished, she started looking for work.
Looking for work at the Fallen Barrel:
She walked around the district and met with Marie who was starting her work shift and started her chat on finding work at the inn. There she met the owner, Riso, an old man that seemed to have seen better days, his great axes attached to the back of the inn alongside his old armor he looked at the young women and sneered as she entered the kitchen. There Alythiel showed more of her lack of knowledge of the mortal world as she wasn't aware of cooking, cutting vegetables and other cooking tasks, however she did show that she was a competent performer as she took a mandolin and played wonderfully for Riso and Marie. Though Riso didn't need another waitress he was convinced that she would be able to bring more clients to his inn and accepted to let her play.
It was then that she had found her first type of work: Performing for the masses. She played and played through out the day and ended her day at Marie's house where she met Kale once more. They quickly discussed the issues plaguing the city and Alythiel reiterated that she was here to help them destroy the darkness. Kale showed disbelief that such a small girl would be able to actually do anything against the darkness. Especially that she seemed to say that it was one great darkness. The night went one without a hitch as she slept for the night dreaming once more of her judgement as she quickly realized that her penance was slowly turning her into a full mortal, removing all traces and knowledge of the plane of Heaven and possibly of her heritage.
Meeting a new Friend
as she started to play at the inn she noticed an early patron come in, he was an elven druid as it seems as he was wearing odd clothing , curled around his long oak staff was a viper, looking a little irritated but calm. He sat down and also noticed her heritage. They talk a little and she learned his name was Saali and that he was her to help the district of Majora deal with a pest problem. As it turned out, Majora is currently plagued with rats and the druid council from the southern forest of Morgalith sent a vermin expert to deal with the issue. They smiled as he started eating and parted ways.
